Loren Ward

Executive Director

Loren Ward serves as Executive Director at NeuLife Rehabilitation of Kentucky, bringing more than 13 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, long-term care, and social services. Throughout her career, she has led multi-facility operations, developed high-performing teams, navigated complex regulatory environments, and driven improvements in quality, financial performance, and service delivery.

Loren earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Western Kentucky University. She is a Licensed Long-Term Care Administrator and Licensed Social Worker, with extensive experience in operational strategy, regulatory compliance, financial management, quality improvement, leadership development, and staff coaching.

In her role at NeuLife, Loren provides leadership and oversight to support high-quality, person-centered services and effective day-to-day operations. She is passionate about developing strong teams, fostering innovation, and creating an environment where persons served and employees have the support and resources they need to succeed.

Zakk Stephens, MHA

Program Manager

Zakk Stephens serves as Program Manager at NeuLife Rehabilitation of Kentucky, bringing more than 15 years of experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, program operations, and workforce leadership. His background includes neurorehabilitation, behavioral health, pharmacy services, long-term care, healthcare administration, and staff training and development.

Zakk earned his Master of Healthcare Administration and Bachelor of Healthcare Administration from Capella University. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles focused on program operations, staff development, compliance, process improvement, and interdisciplinary coordination. He also brings hands-on healthcare experience as a State Registered Nursing Assistant and certified pharmacy technician.

In his role at NeuLife, Zakk supports daily program operations and works closely with clinical, therapy, direct care, and administrative teams to coordinate services for persons served. He oversees scheduling, transportation, staffing, and program logistics while supporting regulatory compliance and quality service delivery. His combination of healthcare administration and hands-on experience allows him to help create an organized, supportive environment focused on positive outcomes for persons served.

Stacie Rector, SHRM-CP

HR Manager

Stacie Rector serves as HR Manager for NeuLife Rehabilitation of Kentucky, bringing more than 15 years of healthcare experience and a diverse background in clinical care, healthcare operations, rehabilitation, and human resources. Before transitioning into human resources, she worked in sports medicine, neurology, and radiology as a Board Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer.

Stacie previously served as a Concussion Program Director and Lead Athletic Trainer, where she provided neurological and neurocognitive evaluations, supported rehabilitation planning, and collaborated with interdisciplinary care teams. Her experience also includes contributing to traumatic brain injury research that resulted in two published studies through the American Academy of Neurology and helping develop an online neurocognitive program.

In her role at NeuLife, Stacie focuses on workforce development, talent strategy, employee engagement, organizational growth, and leadership support. She brings her clinical background and strategic HR perspective together to help build strong teams, support employees, and contribute to the quality of care provided to persons served.

Marcia Potts, BSN, RN

Registered Nurse

Marcia Potts is a Registered Nurse at NeuLife Rehabilitation of Kentucky, bringing a strong clinical background and more than 15 years of experience in direct care and healthcare services. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University and has experience working in acute, subacute, and long-term care settings.

Throughout her career, Marcia has supported individuals with acquired and traumatic brain injuries and developed extensive experience caring for individuals with complex neurological needs. Her clinical background reflects a strong commitment to compassionate, person-centered care and supporting individuals throughout their rehabilitation and recovery journey.

At NeuLife, Marcia uses her nursing experience and clinical knowledge to support the health, safety, and well-being of persons served. She works closely with the interdisciplinary team to help ensure individuals receive quality care and the support they need to make meaningful progress.
